New years

New years we just had a nice relaxing time at Kelvin and Vicki's just playing games with them and Shane and Lois. It'll be nice to just have a little down time after this busy season.

Brenton and Papa think so too.

Tubing

Saturday after X-mas Kyran's WHOLE family went tubing (even some of the Walker's made it). It was so much fun! I could not believe how much snow was up there. Iwould be walking up the hill and I would sink down about a foot..so the snow was about up to me neck then..Ha no just kidding, but it was all the way up my thigh! So when we all finally made it up the hill pulling two kids on a sled and sinking down into the snow we were ready to fly down the hill..and start all over again. That was definately my workout for the week!

Pink Daisy

Alright, so Kyran bought Kyrie a very special present this Christmas from him to her. While she was unwrapping it she wasn't quite sure what it was until she got it all the way unwrapped. But when she did she was SUPER excited because it was a.......Pink BB gun! oh my gosh was she excited she wanted to go outside right then and start shooting but she had to wait a few days until we had time. oh only a present a daddy would buy.

Christmas

This christmas was fun, and also a little hectic too! We went over to Kelvin and Vicki's to have our Christmas eve dinner and then later wne to my parents for another little dinner. My Brother Paul came from Chicago which is always fun since he only gets to come here every other year, and did Kyrie just love it! Then we came home at about 10 p.m. and we still had to make cookies for Santa!

We finally got to go to bed and I had to wake everyone up at 6:30am to open presents. Kyrie just jumped out of bed..she was ready. Brenton was a trooper...although he had no idea what was going on. First thing Kyrie did was check to see if santa ate her cookies and drank his milk.

Santa brought Kyrie Wall-E (one of the only things she asked for this year), jewelry, v-smile video game system and Brenton got a ball popper (he will just sit there all day and watch those balls pop up, he loves it)

After we opened all our presents it was over to Dodee's for Christmas breakfast. After that we open some more presents and Kyrie let Granny know that her name is spelled K-Y-R-I-E what a smart little one she is..Ha.

After that we headed to my parents house for some more present opening (let me tell you...it was a busy day!)

Then we had to have Two more dinners in the same night, so christmas day we were all fat and tired.

Ward Christmas Party

This last Wednesday was our ward Christmas party and they had a little program. Kyrie was a little angel, she was so excited to do it. She loves being the center of attention so being up on stage AND up on a table was just right for her. She was up there singing her little heart out even if she didn't know the words. She was so proud she yelled "That's my mom and dad!" and then a vistor came that none of the kids expected...Santa! She couldn't get off that stage fast enough to see him...AGAIN.

So Brenton had his first taste of solid food, and he actually did really good. believe me, he could have gotten ALOT messier. He just ate it up like it was nothin.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

Christmas time really is the most wonderful time. It's the time of year where you spend lots of time with family. We do FHE with Kyran's family every week in December and both my brothers come for christmas, I just love it.

This year was the first year I had to decorate the house AND tree without Kyan, good thing I have such a good helper.
